Father’s Day Card (GDP498)

This week, the Global Design Project has a layout challenge. So, anything goes!

With Father’s Day coming up, I opted to make a quick and easy card using a kraft paper card base, one sheet of the Beautiful Gallery paper, ribbon, and the ephemera greetings. Simple yet beautiful! (And not too fussy for my Dad).

Here’s this week’s challenge - GDP498!

These challenges are open to all - you do not need to be a Stampin’ Up! or other papercraft consultant to participate! To submit your design:

  • Post your creation to Instagram or Facebook

  • Tag @GlobalDesignProject

  • Use the challenge Hashtag #GDP498

Throughout the week, GDP shares creations to their stories on Instagram & Facebook. One weekly winner will be selected, and their creation will be posted to the GDP feed.

It’s a great way to continue creativity and get some great ideas!

My submission is minimalist this week. I focused on the imagery and the simplicity of the layout. It took me only 10-15 minutes to create. The biggest issue was when I had the top piece upside down!

Supply list:

  • Kraft paper base - extra from the Essential Occasions Kit (165135 - $13.00)

  • Beautiful Gallery 6" x 6" (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper - 1 sheet (165196 - $12.50)
