Extraordinary Flora Card

One of my favorite new products in our catalog is the Extraordinary Flora collection, which includes washi tape, a polymer stamp set, and a die cut. The stamp set and die cut are available as a bundle, which saves $5.

I decided to create a Happy Birthday card using this beautiful washi tape. What do you think of the result?

  1. I stamped the multi-flora stamp on white cardstock. This is a large stamp that requires a large base. I used Clear Block F, which measures 4-7/8" x 6". I set this aside for the base of the card.

  2. I applied the washi tape to white cardstock.

  3. I ran the mounted washi tape through the die-cut machine to create the floral pieces.

  4. From there, I lined up several of the pieces with the stamped image to create the effect of a half-black & white, half-color design.

  5. For the base of the card, I used one of our new Embossed Design Mix & Match Specialty Cards & Envelopes. I like the added texture.

  6. I used Strawberry Slush cardstock as a layer and applied the washi cutouts.

  7. For the sentiment, I used one of the Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack precut sentiments.
